At work I wrote an entire fic, and was going to post it, but that CSI came on. I couldn't resist changing it.
Not really any spoilers, at least, I don't directly mention any.
(And I know this doesn't have much to do with a newspaper, but I just couldn't help it!)
Also, 10 point and a cookie to any one who catches the Sherlock Holmes reference. I loves me some Sherlock.
Your word is Grissom.
David yanked the newspaper from Nick's hands roughly, slamming it down onto the table. "What the hell is the matter with you?" he asked testily, pursing his lips.
"I was reading that, you know." Nick complained, attempting to pick his paper back up.
"And I was just checking my mail, minding my own business, when that thing attacked me."
"Stop being so dramatic. It didn't attack you."
"Yes it did. And I am not dramatic."
"No it didn't."
"Yes. It. Did."
"With what, cuteness?" Nick smirked.
David gave a frustrated sigh and rolled his eyes. "I want it out."
Nick grinned and stood up, pulling David close.
"Let go, Stokes. You're not going to make me change my mind."
"Wanna bet?" said Nick, placing a small kiss on David's cheeck.
"Get off of me. This won't work."
"Liar." Nick placed another kiss on David's throat, gently running his teeth along David's collar bone.
David felt himself shudder all over. "Stop."
"Not a chance." Nick replied, sucking on David's ear lobe.
"So, what are you going to name him?" Nick asked, laying next to David on their bed. He watched as the small dog rolled onto his back, tail wagging.
David looked thoughtful for a moment. "Mycroft, I think. German Shepherds are smart, aren't they?" David asked, rubbing the stomach his new puppy.
Nick blinked. "Yeah. So we'll keep him?"
"Only to shut you up."
Nick pulled his lover into his arms, his lips meeting David's in a small kiss. "Good."
